What is a Sneak Attack?
It's a way to support independant artisans who are trying to sell their wares online. Two days a week at an appointed time, an Etsy shop with few or no sales is announced on this site. As many people as possible then buy items from that shop, resulting in a frenzy of surprise business to the unsuspecting shop! To the upper right is the current Sneak Attack schedule. To participate, show up on this site at or soon after the time of the next attack and you'll see the chosen shop name in the box above. Then go to that shop and purchase an item, making sure to include the words "Sneak Attack" in the "message to seller". It's also fun to tune into the current thread on Etsy to talk about it with other "attackers".

July 7th: Meet Castle
Yeah, it’s Sneak Attack day. We’ve had a little break, due to scheduling issues and a holiday – and now we are raring to go in introducing new Etsy shops to the community!
And what better way to get back into the swing of things than to have a terrific attack tonite at 7pm, sponsored by Castle, from Castle co.
If you have never visited Castle’s shop, you are in for a treat! Castle creates handmade goats milk soap. If you have never tried it, you are in for a surprise. Once you try your favorite handmade soap, you will never go back to commercial ones!
All bars are handmade using the time-honored cold-process method and include the following ingredients:
* Goat’s milk has long been known for its moisturizing properties.
* Olive oil is noted to help the skin maintain it’s natural moisture levels, both protecting the skin and letting it breathe, as well as for its cleansing qualities.
* Coconut oil is chosen by many soap makers since it is known help harden the bar and for its lathering qualities (bubbles!).
And once you are hooked – be sure to get some for family members. You can even have them gift wrapped!

I asked Well Criated: what got you started with your Etsy shop?
We’ve (Mom too) ALWAYS wanted to start a crafty or artsy business, especially together. But it was when we got our first few Alpacas (almost 7 years ago), that we really decided on a solid plan and direction.
At first, my parents were just into Alpaca sales, breeding, and stud services. It wasn’t until a few years ago that we actually started doing something with the fiber! Before that, we were pretty much just hoarding and hoarding it! After awhile though… our garage got pretty darn full of fiber, and we decided it was time to do something – ANYTHING – with it! That was when we got the felting bug.
Haha Hoarding – we all know about that!
